In order to carry out our research experiments, we created several datasets which include data from social bookmarking sites.

Social-ODP-2k9

Description: Social-ODP-2k9 is a dataset created during December 2008 and January 2009 with data retrieved from the social bookmarking sites Delicious and StumbleUpon, the Open Directory Project and the Web. It is made up by 12,616 unique web documents, along with their corresponding social annotations, and classification data according to the ODP.

Data sources: Delicious, StumbleUpon, Open Directory Project and the Web

Availability: Research purposes.

Suitable for: Web page classification, analysis of social annotations, etc.

Wiki10+

Description: Wiki10+ is a dataset created during April 2009 with data retrieved from the social bookmarking site Delicious and Wikipedia. It is made up by 20,764 articles of the English Wikipedia, with their corresponding social tags. All of them had been annotated by at least 10 users on Delicious.

Data sources: Delicious and English Wikipedia.

Availability: Research purposes.

Suitable for: Tag-based navigation, site-specific tagging, etc.

DeliciousT140

Description: DeliciousT140 is a dataset created during June 2008 with data retrieved from the social bookmarking site Delicious and the Web. It is made up by 144,574 unique web documents, all of them with their corresponding social tags. It includes 67,104 different tags.

Data sources: Delicious and the Web.

Availability: Research purposes.

Suitable for: Social tagging pattern analysis, semantic tag clustering, etc.
