Who am I?
I'm a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and Computer Science Engineer (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid), currently working as teaching assistant and researcher at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED).
I'm also a student in Business Administration at the UNED university, nowadays in my fifth academic year.
My research includes different fields of NLP, with special interest in semantic approaches (i.e. discovering the meaning of texts) in the biomedical domain. I have applied different graph-based and knowledge-intensive techniques to several NLP problems, including summarization of biomedical scientific articles and news, word sense disambiguation in biomedical text, biomedical information retrieval, opinion mining and sentiment analysis.
