Who AM I?
Jorge Carrillo de Albornoz is a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and Computer Science Engineer (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), currently working as a teaching assistant and researcher at the Departamento de Lenguajes y Sistemas Informáticos at UNED. I am also member of the UNED group in Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval.
My research interests are Natural Language Processing, specially Sentiment Analysis and Opinion Mining, Negation-Intensifiers-Modality Detection and Systems Evaluation. I finish my Ph.D. in 2011 on the use of linguistic and semantic information for modeling opinions and emotions in text for polarity and intensity classification. At present, I am working in Controversy Detection and Bias Identification in Social Network Analysis in the MISMIS Project. Also, I am working in EvALL, a online webservice for Information Systems Evaluation.
